Description:

We have a client located in Rockford who is interviewing for electrical assemblers. Skills required for the position:
- Can read, interpret, and assemble electrical equipment from blueprints & Sketches.
- Can lay out work by marking dimensions or reference points.
- Must demonstrate and understand how to make proper electrical connections to meet print specifications and applicable codes such as: N.E.C (National Electrical Code) or N.F.P.A (National Fire Protection Association)
- Must demonstrate and understand the fundamentals of conduit pipe bending and fitting
- Understand how to connect standard types of motors, motor starters, transformers.
- Proficient in the use of common, generally accepted measuring devices applicable to the area as required.
- Has an understanding of and can perform the operational aspects of all equipment assigned to the area.

Requirements: 
|
- Experience with manufacturing processes and electrical equipment such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), electro-mechanical controls, motor controllers, conveyance, etc.
- Knowledge of 120/220 single phase wiring, all applications of different voltages of three phase wiring
- Must have a strong understanding of industrial automation - wiring and building industrial control panels based on electrical schematics, and/or wire lists.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics; commercial/industrial wiring experience.
- Knowledge of panel fabrication and build, component lay out, electrical enclosures, electrical assemblies, and controls.
- Strong technical and electrical/mechanical problem-solving skills.
- Experience with testing and measurement techniques and procedures.
- Familiarity with document release and revision control.
- Ability to understand and apply standards and practices.
REQUIREMENTS Should have 2-3 years of relevant experience or advanced degree in field
