The Quality Control Inspector is a temp-to-hire opportunity. You would be responsible for inspecting fabricated metal parts to ensure they meet engineering drawings, customer specifications, and internal quality standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and hands-on experience using precision measuring tools in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished sheet metal parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and tolerances
• Use precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and gauges
• Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials
• Complete inspection reports and maintain quality documentation
• Communicate quality issues with production teams and management
• Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Manufacturing shop environment; PPE required
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift 35–40 lbs as needed

•  High school diploma or GED required

•  Mechanical aptitude with prior manufacturing or inspection experience

•  Experience inspecting fabricated metal parts preferred

•  Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring tools

•  Strong attention to detail with basic computer proficiency

•  Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals
