Our client is seeking a Machine Builder / Assembler with hands-on mechanical and electrical assembly experience to build and assemble custom machinery in Machesney Park, IL. This role involves working from blueprints and electrical schematics and, after a structured training period, supporting field service installations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of machinery and equipment
• Assemble components according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
• Wire panels, install components, and complete final machine builds
• Test and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
• Support machine installations at customer sites after training
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements:

• Mechanical assembly experience
• Electrical assembly experience
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Willingness and ability to perform field service work after training

Additional Information:

• Field service work required after extended training period
• Approximately 25% travel for field service and installations
