Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site 2nd Shift Supervisor role located in the Greater Rockford Area. The 2nd Shift Supervisor will oversee daily manufacturing operations during the assigned shift, ensuring that production schedules are met while maintaining quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include supervising and coaching team members, monitoring workflow and equipment efficiency, addressing operational challenges in real time, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

1. Leadership and Team Management: Experience supervising teams, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to foster a collaborative work environment.
2. Production and Operations Knowledge: Familiarity with production schedules, workflow management, and process improvement techniques.
3. Quality and Compliance: Understanding of industry-standard quality assurance practices, safety regulations, and AS9100C/ISO 9001:2008 standards.
4. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges effectively.
5. Technical Skills: Knowledge of machinery and equipment, ability to read and interpret blueprints, and familiarity with synthetic materials manufacturing. Previous Stamping, Die cutting experience strongly preferred.
6. Reliability, exceptional attendance history a must.

Other Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; Previous experience in a supervisory role in manufacturing is desirable
