We are seeking a dependable Parts Cleaner / Grinder to join a local steel manufacturing team on 2nd shift. This role involves cleaning and finishing steel parts, removing slag from flame-cut components, and assisting with minor weld repairs as needed. Previous experience in the steel industry is helpful.

Responsibilities:

• Grind flame-cut slag from steel parts using electric hand grinders
• Perform minor weld repairs as needed
• Measure parts using tape measures and micrometers
• Operate overhead cranes to move materials and parts
• Operate forklifts to transport materials throughout the facility
• Inspect parts to ensure quality and proper finishing
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

• Experience using electric hand grinding tools
• Ability to use tape measures and micrometers
• Forklift experience required
• Overhead crane experience preferred
• Welding experience helpful
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
