We are seeking a reliable Brake Press Operator for a metal fabrication environment on 1st shift. This role involves bending metal throughout the entire shift to produce corner guards, operating brake press machines, and handling parts from start to finish. The CNC programs are already set up, so the focus is on operating the machine, maintaining quality, and keeping production moving.

Responsibilities:

• Operate brake press machines to bend metal parts
• Work from blueprints to produce parts to specification
• Cut metal and form corner guards in various sizes
• Read and use a tape measure to ensure accurate dimensions
• Stack and organize finished corner guards
• Perform quality checks on finished parts
• Maintain steady production from start to finish of the process
• Keep work area clean, safe, and organized

• Previous experience working with metal required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Experience operating brake press machines
• Experience with HEIM Brake Press and TRUMPF / TrumaBend C120 machines preferred
• Ability to work on repetitive tasks and remain on your feet throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks
