We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Mill / Swiss Lathe Set-Up & Operator to join client's manufacturing team in Rockford, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines and Swiss lathes to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with blanking mills, strong blueprint reading skills, and the ability to accurately measure parts using precision instruments. This position plays a critical role in ensuring efficient production and high-quality output in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Pay: $18.00/hour

• Set up and operate CNC mills and Swiss lathes to produce precision parts
• Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
• Measure and inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools
• Work with blanking mills to support production requirements
• Monitor machine performance and identify issues during operation
• Maintain quality standards and ensure parts meet specifications
• Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

• Experience with CNC mills and/or Swiss lathe set-up and operation
• Blanking mills experience required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
