We are seeking a Grinder / Polisher for a growing manufacturing company in Beloit, WI. This role focuses on grinding, smoothing, and polishing stainless steel and cold rolled steel components to prepare them for finishing operations.

Pay: $19–$21/hr
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm (4-day work week)
Overtime: Fridays as needed with advance notice

Responsibilities:

• Grind, smooth, and polish metal parts using belt, disc, and wheel grinders
• Remove excess material and surface defects from stainless and cold rolled steel components
• Select appropriate abrasive materials based on finish requirements
• Perform bead blasting to achieve consistent finishes
• Load and unload tumble deburring machines
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Work from blueprints, drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions

• Previous grinding, polishing, metal finishing, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and use basic measuring tools
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Good math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently
